Little Hay Planning Application

This is more information from the latest amendment to the Little Hay Planning Application.  The drawings show the extent of the road widening that Woodlands propose at the bottom of Upper Bourne End Lane.  As you can see, this would involve the removal of virtually all the verge, which would make using the lane incredibly dangerous for pedestrians and horse riders, as there would be nowhere to get off the carriageway and away from vehicles.

There is also a letter from Woodlands Environmental explaining why they still want to use Upper Bourne End Lane as their access route.  This is despite a refusal from Herts Highways on their earlier application to use the lane due to serious safety concerns and the fact that they have been given permission from Highways to use Box Lane as access into the golf course.
