An update on traffic issues around Winkwell

We are continuing our drive to improve the traffic situation for Winkwell. We have recently met and walked the lanes with HCC Highways officers responsible. This now means that all who may have some bearing on the situation, HCC Highways, our MP, our County Councillors, and our local councillors, have seen the current situation for themselves. While the current situation is unacceptable, the combined impact of LA3, widening Chaulden Lane and the traffic from the new development in Pix Farm Lane does not bear thinking about!

There has been a considerable flow of emails over the past years, but we have reproduced the letter we have recently circulated to all involved.

    I cant see the map, that a side thank you for the work you have done and continue to do on behalf of the village. I can only hope that HCC see sense in what is being proposed and make the changes suggested.
